The bill on crypto regulation in the US Senate may be postponed until May

The Senate Banking Committee is not expected to review the CLARITY Act in April because of disagreements regarding payments for holding stablecoins. Banks worry that revenues generated by “stable coins” could draw away deposits and undermine smaller financial institutions.

Senator Thom Tillis pointed out that a compromise between banks and crypto companies will require more time.
